No. 5 /  Folamour – Novalaise [Moonrise Hill Material]

In at Five – I’ll bring in something very easy on the ears. For those not familiar with French producer Folamour, make sure to check out this incredible 4 track EP titled ‘Oyabun’ on his own imprint – Moonrise Hill Material.

To be honest I could have just made a playlist just dedicated to this EP its that good. Along with ‘La Pierre et Le Sabre’  and the infectious ‘Rue D’ Amsterdam’ – this really is a perfect EP for the summer months.

No. 4 / Secret Value Orchestra – Serious Intentions [D.KO Records]

When your vocalist sounds like Jamiroquai, its not bad start!

The 5 piece band consisting of Larry Houl and Flabaire to name a few, Introduced themselves to the forefront with their debut EP on D.KO Records – Serious Intentions EP

Check out their live set here!

No. 3 /  Fabe – Away From Yours [Salty Nuts]

Label boss Fabe leading by example with his ‘Away From Yours EP’ on Salty Nuts. Yet to hear this on a night out, can only imagine good things when that bassline hits.

He plays 5 Years of Fuse London Records Terrace Rave at Studio 338 on Saturday 30th July. Looking forward to seeing him in action.

No.2 / Låpsley – Operator (DJ Koze’s Extended Disco Version) [XL Recordings]

Doing the absolute rounds at the minute and rightly so! DJ Koze giving Låpsley’s ‘Operator’ a disco twist. Tipped by Skream as “Possibly the tune of the year”. Can’t disagree with him at all here.

No. 1 / Janeret – Solstice [D.KO Records]

Growing up on Drum and bass – this song gives me that nostalgic feeling that any good song should. Had this one on repeat since its release.

Janeret has been making some big waves as of late and IMO he just well and truly cemented himself as a bit of a fucking ledge here! Hoping this release gets the credit it deserves.

Kudos to Janeret and D.KO!
